CONTROL ANY DEVICE WITH BLUETOOTH+INTERNET+MAGIC OF CR!CKED

So Ready for some hardcore stuff??

The circuit of a simple cellphone-based device-control system using Bluetooth communication link and microcontroller is shown above. It can be easily designed by engineering students and hobbyists. The advantage of Bluetooth technology is that it doesn’t require line-of-sight for signal transmission from the transmitter to the receiver. This device control system overcomes the problems of manual switching (on/off) of different devices through Bluetooth -enabled cellphone communicating with the Bluetooth module interfaced with the microcontroller . It is a simple and cost-effective design to solve the problem of remote control for whatever reason it May be .The circuit consists of a cellphone attached to a Bluetooth adapter (one could use a cellphone having inbuilt Bluetooth) ,a Bluetooth  module interfaced with microcontroller AT89C2051,a driver IC ULN2803, five 12V relays, LEDs and associated discrete components .At the heart of the circuit is microcontroller IC AT89C2051 (IC1). It is a 20-pin, 8-bit microcontroller with 2kB of Flash programmable and erasable read-only memory (PEROM), 128bytes of RAM, 15 input/output lines ,two 16-bit timers/counters, a five-vector two-level interrupt architecture, a duplex serial port, a precision analogue comparator, on-chip oscillator and clock circuitry. The ULN2803 (IC2) consists of eight npn Darlington-connected transistors, which are ideally suitable for interfacing between low-logic-level digital circuitry and the higher current/voltage requirement circuits such as lamps, fans or other similar loads fora broad range of computer, industrial and consumer applications. It is used here for driving the devices through relay contacts. You can write a simple software program for the microcontroller of the Bluetooth-enabled cellphone, employing simple coding and decoding of remote signals to perform switching of devices.

ONLY A SARDAR CAN UNDERSTAND ANOTHER,..CHAK DE PHATTE !!

Could it have been a better diwali gift??

Story: A strapping sardaar travels home (Punjab) from UK, to claim ancestral property; only to be welcomed by another family of sardaars who're age-old clan-dushmans. And the only escape is living-in with the enemy.

So bring out that tall glass of chilled lassi and let's figure the why, what, who of this desi-ghee story. Jassi (Ajay Devgn) jaisa koi nahi. He falls in love-at-first-sight, in a train with Sukhmeet (Sonakshi), call her Sukh please (she's quite a 'peace' of work); and ends up as a guest in her mad-house full of comical sardaars - The Sandhus. There's the head-of-the-house Billu paaji(Sanjay Dutt), bros Tony (Mukul Dev) and Tito (Vindoo Dara Singh), who've sworn to never have ice-cream and cold-drinks (rum-on-the-rocks is all he's ever had, poor liver, sigh!) until they avenge their father's death; and a kidsardaar who talks about 'pegs' (Patiala types).
Adding solid femme power to this macho sardaar story is Pammi (Juhi Chawla, delightful) Billu's mooh-boli-biwi, Bebe (Tanuja) suffering from part-time memory lapses; and lastly Rajpreet the loved buffalo (who mooedthis cheez?) The problem? The Sandhus have been vengefully thirsting for Jassi's head, but can't lay a sword on him because he's their (unwanted) house-guest (mehmaan equals bhagwan, remember?), he even feigns 'paira-te-laces' (paralyses) to stay 'home' to save his life.
Ajay Devgn convincingly plays son-of-the-soil with power, playfulness and colorful pagdis in every scene. He switches from comedy, action and romance flippantly, impressing with funny lines, gimmicks atop a ghodi (Jassi again) and tons of PJJs (poor-Punju-jokes). Sonakshi throws in another 'heavy-weight' performance. In Ajay's own words, "kaafi bhaari hai" (read: weight). She does her usual dance routine (with ceetees et al), spouts 'chal jhoota' to all men, and plays the moophat girl in true sardarni style.

Sanjay Dutt, as the supporting sardaar, is a delight to watch. His gussa makes you giggle and his angry outbursts are adorable. Juhi Chawla lights up the screen with her comic timing as impeccable as ever. The coy-cum-cutesy scenes between Dutt and Chawla are amongst the highlights of this one.

The other members of this madhouse, Vindoo Dara Singh and Mukul Dev also pack a knockout Punjabi-punch with their dumb'n'dumber act.

Ashwni Dhir entertains in parts, with a plenty of Punju humour and goofy one-liners that crack you up. While handling all the Jaswinders, Parminders, Happys and Sweetys, he loses the plot, stretching it all around the sarson-ka-khet (and leaving some behind). This is a mass-entertainer, strung together with a series of Santa-Banta jokes, spiked solidly with macho sardaarisms.

Like Jassi says, "Kabhi toh hasliya karo", this one makes you laugh - in parts!

A WORTHY TRIBUTE TO THE GREAT YASH CHOPRA !!

Finally the most awaited movie,.....JTHJ

Shah Rukh Khan is Samar Anand a bomb disposal expert from the Indian army posted in Ladakh. He's a brave heart(of the kind you've seen in Hollywood movies like Livewire, Hurt Locker) who has defused close to a hundred bombs without bothering to ever wear a safety suit. His colleagues laud him and refer to him as the man who cannot die.

Samar goes about defusing bombs with such ease; even your fear of the bomb is temporarily suspended, at least through the duration of this film. On the personal front, Samar is a brooder and sleeps with his personal diary strapped close to his chest. Anushkha Sharma (Akira Rai), a documentary filmmaker, who is also in Ladakh, accidentally finds herself in possession of Samar's diary. Since no one has ever told her that it is bad manners to read another person's diary, she leafs through its contents.

And discovers that the army man doesn't smile because of his poignant past. The story unfolds to tell you that in his growing up years Samar, who did odd jobs in London, to make ends meet was footloose till he fell head-over-heels-love-with a rich heiress Katrina Kaif (Meera Thappar). Meera is engaged to be married to a gora but she finds herself inexplicably drawn to the desi Samar; the man who teaches her how to shed her inhibitions and live life king-size.

A road-accident in London changes the course of Meera-Samar's happy love story and Samar finds himself back in Ladakh diffusing bombs. In this strife ridden atmosphere, his path crosses that of Akira; a young girl, who falls for him. Before Samar and Akira's acquaintance turns into anything deeper, the film plot lands Samar back in London, where he meets with a road accident yet again. This time, the hospital authorities, diagnose him with retrograde amnesia... and say he has been in a time warp of sorts for close to a decade. The only one, who can bring him back from the brink, is his first love Meera. And a new chapter unfolds.

Shah Rukh Khan is the backbone of JTHJ. He's charismatic as the lover and enigmatic as the army guy. Katrina Kaif is a smart dresser and looks stunning. She's also a delight to watch in the song Ishq Shava, she having become this dramaticBollywood film dancer. But when it comes to handling the intense emotional scenes, Kat is still a Barbie doll, beautiful but plastic.

Anushka Sharma is easy on the eye and an ideal fit in the motor-mouth parts. She has the perfect 10 figure but frankly she is saddled with an unsatisfying role.

A R Rahman's music--be it the Challa track or the Heer song never grew on the charts; but in the film, the music charms you because the lead actors infuse life into the songs.

Frankly if someone were to ask what's the bonus you take back from JTHJ. It's the end-credit visuals of Yash Chopra horsing around with his actors or immersed in deep discussion with his crew. These bring a lump to your throat because the film comes so close to his death.

Conclusion:You will not like Jab Tak Hai Jaan if mushy romances are not your staple. The movie doesn't have the intensity of some of Yash Chopra's earlier romances like Daag, Kabhie-Kabhie, Silsila and Chandni. But it still has the stamp of the man who made some of the best romantic fare in Bollywood.

CAN INDIA PULL IT OFF IN A WAY IT HAS BEEN BOASTED???

CAN INDIA PULL IT OFF IN A WAY IT HAS BEEN BOASTED??

A lot has been told and heard about the upcoming series between India and England where the whole country boasts to give a whitewash to England in the same way as England gave to India in the last summer on the Indian tour of England,2011.There is no doubt that the Indians will always be the favourites in the whole series under the home conditions but do you think that the team has got enough to give a whitewash to the well settled England team who is at present holding the second rank in the ICC rankings of test cricket.

Even before the Englishmen came to India,Raina has already declared that it is pay back time for England.Although it is sad that Raina himself could not make to the Indian squad for the first two tests but his words still hold its place.India,a country where Cricket is a religion and Tendulkar is its god, went after the words of raina and from then, every ad and everythng related to the test series has been focusing on the punishment that the Englishmen are going to face in return of the whitewash given to India.

Now,coming to the stats,England is playing its third warm up match and the way they have played is really not indicating something like a whitewash. Its well known that they are playing against the domestic teams, not with the Indian team but still they have had an upper hand in every warm up match which is very contrast to the warm up match that India had played against Somerset and Northamptonshire  back in England in 2011.the only player who gave an answer to the English bowlers in that series is already retired. And as far as my logics matter,a team having an upper match in every warm up match must be having an ability to atleast draw the matches and not suffer a whitewash.

Looking at the figures, their top three batsmmen have already been in form in the warm up matches. The captain,Alastair Cook has 216 runs in the two innings he has played.Trott has been decent with 160 in his four innings while Peiterson scored a century in his last inning.Samit Patel, their part time all rounder who has been mostly good against the Indian team has been performing excellent in the warm up matches scoring 231 runs in three innings with 7 wickets in his bag.Anderson and Bresnan has also been good witht the ball taking some wickets in every innings.

So,the main point is that when India was playing in England in 2011,it seemed that they have been sent to some alien condition pitches where facing every ball seemed like a threat to them while Engand has been performing decently in the warm up matches and they seem to be well prepared for the series opener from 15th of this month.
These were the facts and knowledge provided on the current state of the England team who are gonna play India from 15th of November under Indian conditions. Now,the decision whethet they will be given a whitewash or will they back fire on India or will they just try to defend the matches lies in your hands. So,what do you think?????

DUMINY INJURY TAKES HIM OUT FOR SIX MONTHS

DUMINY INJURY TAKES HIM OUT FOR SIX MONTHS

JP Duminy, the well known South African allrounder has been ruled out of the Gabba test as well as rest of the series with an injury. He is expected to be out of action for nearly three to six months after rupturing an Achilles tendon in his left heel during the post-play warmup after the first day of play of the first match. His surgery will be done on Saturday.

With a brilliant performnce given by the south african top order after choosing to bat first,Duminy didnt have to show any action on the field first day.But after the end of the day he was doing drills with the fitness trainer Rob Walter when he slipped. After which he was treated by the physiotherapist on the field from where he was carried off  by bowling coach Allan Donald and Jackson.Later he was taken for X-rays which revealed the injury.

This injury may come as a blow to the South African side who are well settled at present in this match.Without Duminy they willl have to play the match without a specialist batsman. While Faf du Plesis can take his place in the field but the Africans will mis his slow left arm bowling as he was the only spinning option they had considered for this match.Smith himself or Peterson  will have to take the bowl in hands to provide the visitors with a spinning option.

"He was running in the shuttle sprints and heard a pop," Mohammed Moosajee, the South African team manager, said. "The diagnosis of an Achilles' tendon rupture was confirmed by the MRI scan this evening and he will undergo surgery to re-attach the tendon on Saturday morning.

"Injuries of this nature are caused by a sudden contraction against the direction of movement by the calf muscle, as was the case during his sprint. We will only be able to gauge an expected recovery date further down the line, but injuries of this nature have been known to take up to six months before the player can resume playing cricket.

"He is obviously disappointed, but is trying his best to stay positive; he says everything happens for a reason."

Duminy sealed a permanent place in the South African team after the retirement of Mark Boucher. It still is a mystery that who is gonna take his place in his absence. The replacement will be named on monday.

CLASH OF THE RIVALS:AUS VS SA

CLASH OF THE RIVALS: AUS VS SA

AUS VS SA,1st Test,Brisbane
November 9-13,The Gabba
Start Time:0000 GMT(0530 IST)

OVERALL PICTURE

The two top class rivals are once again up against each other as they face each other after a gap of one year. They had last met in South Africa when the series was a draw with one win in each of their hands. There is no doubt that these two teams play the world class cricket and has the best seam bowlers all round the world. And all these facts give so much of hype to this series that everyone is very eagerly waiting for this series to begin.Currently Australia holds the third rank with116 points and South Africa holds the first rank with 120 points in test cricket. So,the stats say that this series has the power to bring a lot of change in the rankings.Australia would like to give in everything thay have to achieve the first ranking while Smith would love to keep his team consistent at the first rank.

Australia looked to be a very settled side a month back .But now after losing their young bowler Cummins and the famous all rounder Shane Watson to injury, the vistors no doubt looks to be more settled side.Although the australian coach believes that they could win even without Watson as they had won against India but evryone knows the difference between Indian and South African team.Rob Quiney has been called to take the place of Shane Watson after having a good season of domestic cricket. And Mitchell Starc or Hilfenhaus will take the place of patt cummins. They do not have well experienced side but having Warner at the top with Ponting,Clarke and Mike Hussey at the bottom to handle the innnings give them a good chance to perform decently with the bat.Responsibility to provide early wickets will lie in the hands of Peter Siddle and Starc.

South Africa seems to be a better team on paper with huge experience of Jack Kallis in the all round section.De Villiers need to show that he could handle the keeping with his batting performances as he has done in the the other two formats.South African pace attack is the best in the worl at present but testing the likes of Ponting,Clarke and Hussey wont be that easy. They need to maintain their line and length in order to keep Warner in control and take him early. The batting line up with the names of Amla,Kallis,Abd,Duminy and Smith itself says the impact they can make on a match. It will be interesting to see how they approach for this match.

KEY PLAYERS

Vernon Philander entered the test cricket world as a great boost for the South African team.He was taking  wickets even more than Steyn in most of the matches but his wicket taking capability seems to have reduced in the last few matches. So,it will be interesting to watch how he goes for this series with pitches favouring the seam bowlers. If he goes on then it will be a problem to stop him.

The captain himself,Michael Clarke, holds the key to his team success. The team has improved a lot under his captaincy. He bats so well under pressure that its a delight to watch him then. His bowling moves and his batting strategy will decide a lot about this match's result.

PLAYING XI

South Africa will not like to make a change to their team as it has a clear edge over the australians.

South Africa (possible): 1. Graeme Smith (capt) 2. Alviro Petersen  3. Hashim Amla  4. Jacques Kallis  5. AB de Villiers (wk)  6. Jacques Rudolph  7. JP Duminy  8. Vernon Philander  9. Morne Morkel  10. Dale Steyn  11. Imran Tahir.

Michael Clarke hinted that he may want to go with a four man pace attack.Anyways he will have to choose two between Starc,Hilfenhaus and Lyon.

Australia (possible): 1. Ed Cowan  2. David Warner  3. Rob Quiney  4. Ricky Ponting  5. Michael Clarke (capt)  6. Michael Hussey  7. Matthew Wade (wk)  8. Peter Siddle  9. James Pattinson  10&11. Ben Hilfenhaus/Mitchell Starc/ Nathan Lyon.

PITCH CONDITIONS

The pitch is expected to be more drier than the one on which New Zealand and Australia played last year. This indicates that the spinners will have a job to do on this pitch. The match is expected to finish on the fifth day as there are forecasts for some rain in the next five days.

This promises to be a cracking performnace where the world top batsmen faces the world top seamers. And there will be mind fights between the strategies of the world top two captains. So,i suggest you not to miss this.Cheers!!!

Positive response to debut song excites Priyanka

Positive response to debut song excites Priyanka

Actress Priyanka Chopra, whose debut single "In My City" sales reportedly crossed 100,000 mark within a week of its release, is amazed at the response and hopes it opens up doors for aspiring artists.
"I don't think anybody expected that, you know, these kind of numbers would happen in India, a market where you don't see that kind of numbers for music. It's really fascinating andexciting for us that it does happen," the 30-year-old said here Tuesday through video conference at the fourth edition of Nokia Music Connects.
"You know it has broken such barriers which will open up music to Indian culture. And we have so much talent in India when it comes to music that I hope this springs opportunities for so many other artists in India," she added.
Priyanka's debut single "In My City" released September this year and also features international music artist Will.i.am.

Acting, not romance, is my forte: Shah Rukh Khan

Acting, not romance, is my forte: Shah Rukh Khan

He may be known the world over as the ultimate icon of romance but only five of his 75 films portray him as the romantic hero, says Shah Rukh Khan, who believes that projecting him as the lover boy is "oversimplification".

"Honestly, I think acting is my forte. I think this is oversimplification - five out of the 75 films that I have done have been romantic. They have done well, so have the other ones," Shah Rukh told IANS in a group interview.

He had made it big initially with grey roles inBaazigar and Darr, but was labelled king of romance following the stupendous success ofDilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Dil To Pagal Hai and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

He proved his versatility by featuring in actioners like Don 2 and issue-based films like My Name Is Khan, Chak De! India and Swades, but the tag stuck. His last love saga was the Aditya Chopradirected Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. He returns to the genre after four years with the late Yash Chopra's Jab Tak Hai Jaan, which releases Nov 13 on Diwali.

He will be seen wooing Katrina Kaif and Anushka Chopra in what he calls a modern love story.

"Yashji wanted to make love stories. He said that we have had enough of these fighting films. I believed in him...... (with this film) he said he wanted to make a simple yet complicated film on human relations. It is a very modern interpretation (of love). (But) I think love remains the same," Shah Rukh.

This is Shah Rukh's fourth film with Yash Chopra as director after Darr (1993), Dil To Pagal Hai(1997) and Veer-Zaara (2004).

His real life approach to romance is simple.

"You should sit with who you love...you don't need anything else...beach, candle, a car or anything. When you love someone, you don't need anything else. The fact that you do need other things means that you don't love that person," said the actor who is happily married to Gauri.

He added that his fans had formed an image on the basis of his screen appearance.

"You will only know who I am from the impression you make of me from my films. You will never get to know how I really am because you don't know me, neither do you spend time with me. And my larger than life image is so big that if I romance well, you will feel that I am a romantic. My image is so big already that whatever you think of me will be based on your perception of me from my films," he said.

More than an actor, Shah Rukh Khan has become a brand. But nothing is more important than the acting, he says.

"I feel that more than the brand, I just try to enjoy my acting. I have been enjoying it since 20 years. I don't think I will stop soon. Till the time I get happiness, I will do it. Very few people get the chance of doing what they want to do...and very few get the chance of doing new things every day."

"Sometimes I am romantic, sometimes I am dancing, fighting...going to new places....so I cherish these moments. I get excited and this shows on screen.

"Whatever role you give me, I will make it out to be something. It is like a challenge to me when I can add something (to my role)," he said.

Review: 1920-Evil Returns

                      Review: 1920-Evil Returns
Cast: Aftab Shivadasani, Tia Bajpai, Vidya Malwade
Director: Bhushan Patel
According to Vikram Bhatt, this is not meant to be a sequel of his '1920’ which came out in 2008. That film was set in 1920 and had a young couple that lived in a large Victorian haveli, and who dealt with an evil spirit.
'1920-Evil Returns’ has a threesome in a house that looks similar, doing ditto. It may not be a sequel, but it uses the same old notes to scare us. Creaking doors. Moaning voices. Dark woods. Carriages drawn by horses. Girls in frilly frocks and hats. Red eyes. And witch doctors. The difference between the two is that while the earlier one had some scary moments, this one is massively mirth-inducing.
Right from when it opens, my companions to the left and right of me were giggling. Not the kind of nervous laughter you produce when you are genuinely frightened, but the other one, when stuff that’s meant to be scary is unintentionally hilarious. So all three main characters --the forlorn poet (Shivadasani, back on screen after a gap), his sister (Malwade), and a mysterious girl (Bajpai)—go about trying very hard to look spooked. And say stuff like this : Mujhe hasne ki awaaz sunaai de rahi hai (mysterious girl); Haan, mujhe bhi hasne ki awaaz sunaai de rahi hai (smitten poet). And someone in the dark shadows behind them goes hahahaha.

CCI rejects Ajay Devgn's plea against Yash Raj Films

CCI rejects Ajay Devgn's plea against Yash Raj Films

Fair trade regulator CCI has rejected actor-producer Ajay Devgn's complaint alleging abuse of dominant position by Yash Raj Films, saying that there are no violations of competition norms in the case.

Ajay Devgn Films Pvt Ltd had moved the Competition Commission of India (CCI), alleging that YRF was using its dominant position to ask exhibitors to dedicate more screens to its own upcoming release, Shahrukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan, affecting Devgn's film Son of Sardaar. Both the films are releasing on same day -- November 13.

"The Commission is prima facie of the opinion that there is no contravention of the provisions of the (Competition) Act in the present case," it said in an order dated November 5. The CCI said Devgn did not place on record any data related to market share or economic strength to show how the YRF was in a dominant position in the relevant market. "It was argued by the counsels for the informant that the opposite parties were dominant because Opposite Party was big banner production house and had big name and had given several block buster films. "No enterprise can be considered dominant on the basis of big name. Dominance has to be determined as per law on the basis of market share, economic strength and other relevant factors stated under... the Competition Act," the order said.
The Delhi High Court on Friday asked the CCI to "expeditiously" decide on Ajay Devgn Films' complaint that its Son of Sardaar was not getting enough single-screen theatres as Yash Raj Films has used its dominant position for better exhibition of Jab Tak Hai Jaan. As per the Commission, the grievance of Ajay Devgn Films arose due to fear that it would not get enough theatres for 'Son of Sardaar' because of the agreement of single screen theatres with Yash Raj Films at the time of releasing Ek Tha Tiger.
