ACES VS PERTH,GROUP A,CL T20

It is the last day of Group matches in the CL T20 , 2012 and the semifinalists for the Group A have not been decided yet.Contrary to the dead rubber matches on Monday, Tuesday promises to be a thrilling entertainer for the cricket lovers as three teams from Group A will fight for the two semifinalists berth.At present we can say that Delhi Daredevils are at a much comfortable position by winning two matches from the three matches they have played where the third match was ruined by rain.But in T20 you can never say anything.Things change at the blink of an eye.The result of the first match will decide the importance of the second match.If Aces lose the first match then the second match will be a dead rubber but if they win it then again the heartbeats will rise and the result of the second match will have a great impact on the semifinalists berth.In this match,Aces will give in everything they have to come up with a win and they would like to make the win as huge as possible in order to have a better run rate.On the other hand , Perth from the Big Bash league will just play for the pride as they have not won any of their three matches in this tournament.This team had a great potential on paper which they could not put into performance.

Aces need to win this match and hope for a loss of Titans in the second match to qualify for the semis.Even if Titans win the second match then Aces need Titans to win it with a big margin in order to have a better net run rate  than Delhi Daredevils for qualifying.So,a lot of equations and luck holds out for Aces.

Perth still looks to be a very good team on the paper and they have every kind of talent.They had a very good Big Bash league but Champions league has been a disaster for them.With openers like Gibbs and Marsh they can impose a huge total even if one of them clicks well.The captain needs to come up the order and take some responsibility in his hands. Katich has been giving some good starts to his innings.He just needs to make it big.Their bowling has been good so far.Beer and Hogg has performed decently.They need to keep control on their wicket falls and perform better with their batting to surprise Aces in this match.

Aces face a team with very low spirit .So,they have a chance to put them under more pressure and come up with a huge win. Guptill and Vincent needs to give a solid start rather than just playing few shots and then giving away their wickets. Azhar Mahmood will again be a key with both batting and bowling.They have good young players in their batting line up.They just need to have a good temperament.Their bowlers need to be less economical than they were in their outing with Titans.If all goes well then they are a very good team and can have an easy victory.

PERTH: Mitchell Marsh

Aces are expected to go with the same team as they have won matches with the same team.One failure wont bring some change.

Perth can bring some changes.North may hand over the captaincy to Katich for this match .Picking up Collingwood seems to be an obvious decision.Many other changes are also expected.

I  think I will go with Aces in this match as it is a do or die match for them.There does not seem to be a spark in Perth team and they gave a very casual performance in the last match whereas Aces seems to be an energy filled team with lots of spirits and hunger.So,Aces is my call.

Watch this match if you are a T20 lover.The marsh brothers against Mahmood and Guptill will be a feast to watch.Have Fun!!
