KKR VS PERTH,GROUP A, CL T20

The elimination of the IPL Champions,KKR, from the group stages has been well set by the two foreign league teams who thrashed them in their first two matches by a margin large enough to  make their qualifying chances doubtful even after winning both the remaining group matches.Now KKR faces another team who is at the bottom of the their group but they have played only one match and lost it.

This promises to be a great entertainer where the likes of Gibbs and Marsh will clash with the pace of Lee and Kallis,where Gambhir and Mcculum will face the class of Hogg and Rimmington. It will be very interesting to see the survival scheme adopted by the Perth team against the mystery spinner Sunil Narine. And the new scheme which Gambhir should follow in order to bring up a balance in his team's declining batting performances.

The situation is much worse for KKR as they have lost both their matches.So,this match may show them the exit door of the tournament if they lose it.The team has got  great batting talents as we have seen in the IPL. Gambhir and Kallis will have to come up and share the responsibility of  holding up the wickets from one end while Bisla and Mcculum should aim for raising the batting pace .Yusuf and Tiwary should focus on giving a good finish. The bowling of KKR has always been the best except the last two matches.The pace of Lee and the magical spin of Narine has been a very hard thing to tackle by a batsman of any class. KKR will have to keep both the batting and bowling  in balance in order to smell the victory today.

Perth Scorchers have a very balanced team as it looks on the paper.But they also lacked the balance in their first outing.They have hard hitters in the form of Gibbs and Shaun Marsh to destroy the bowling line ups.North and Katich will have to control the batting of their side.All round performance of Mitchell Marsh can be very handy at times.He can hit the ball to much greater distances than you can even think of. Hogg and Rimmington can keep the batting run rate in control by their bowling variances.They will hope to find a better coordination than their last match in order to win this contest.

The track looks to favour the batsmen as I can see from the first match.There will be a lot of boundaries and maybe some uneven bounce.As of now,there is no signs of rain.Hopefully,it stays away.

KKR may bring in Lee in place of Sakib Al Hasan who did not show any great signs either with the ball or bat. Iqbal abdullah can be considered for Balaji who has been very very expensive in the last two matches.These two can be the only changes for KKR.

Perth will like to go with the same team as it is the perfect team they can have.All they need is good balance and good performances from their key players.

I think KKR is a far better team than  what they have been in this tournament.If their captain takes up the responsibility and few of their stars click then it will be a KKR's game.So,KKR is my call.

Dont miss this match as it will be a cracking competition between the two top domestic teams.Have a great match!!
