Teams set to
move closer to semis
It is only
the 8th match in the champions league T20 and both these teams have shown a lot
of spirit and challenged the IPL teams,the all time favourites , that they are
not gonna play the tournament as u
nderdogs.While
Titans defeated a very strong team,Perth Scorchers in their very first match
and it was a convincing win,Auckland Aces thrashed KKR,the IPL winner with the
all round performance of Azhar Mahmood in their first match.The champions
League moves today to their third venue,Durban,for the back to back cracking
matches.The winner of this match will move to the top of the group and very
close to the semifinals berth.
Till
now,Aces have been performing both with the bat and the ball.Though,they have
won all the matches bowling first but still it wont matter much to them.They
just believe in playing good cricket.They have the likes of Azhar Mahmood and
Kyle Mills to extract the bounce from the pitch while Hira has been good at
picking wickets with being little expensive.The batting mainly revolves around
the top four batsmen who can chase down anything if they are in touch.Guptill
and Mahmood again will share the responsibilities of shaping up the batting at
a good pace.
Titans
mainly have the top order pairing which gave them the best start they could
have in their opening game.Rudolph and Davids will have a great role to play in
the batting line up which can be further carried on by Jaarsveldt and
Behradien. With the bowling experiences of Van Der Merwe and Alfonso Thomas,the
well renowned T20 players,they can surprise their opponents anytime. CJD De
Villiers did a fantastic job with the bowl in the first match.The team will
expect him to carry on with his good work.

No
changes are expected in the playing 11 from the last game until there is an
injury as both the teams had a comfortable win in their last outing.
Pitch
and Conditions:
It has
been raining in Durban and the same is forecasted for Wednesday.It may be a
washout.But if the weather goes fine then it will be interesting to see how the
pitch behaves.
My
View:Both the teams are in a very good touch.It is very difficult to choose one
team.But I think aces have a little bit of edge over Titans.They can take the
game away if one of their stars click.So,a very difficult match to put your
money on.Catch up some popcorn and hope you enjoy the game.
